Hemispheric University Consortium (HUC)

The HUC Student Dialogues on SDGs Spring 2021 is open for faculty applications. Hosted by the Hemispheric University Consortium (HUC) and Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador), the HUC Student Dialogues on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) consists of a series of workshops aimed at promoting intercultural dialogues and digital skills across the hemisphere. Please find the attached faculty proposal template, workshop guidelines, a PDF file explaining the event and what the event organizers are looking for, as well as this short summary of relevant information:

    • Faculty Application deadline: Monday, February 22. Interested faculty members may complete the attached Workshop Application Form and return to Luke Li via email at: lukeli@yorku.ca with “HUC Student Dialogues on SDGs” in the subject line by the deadline.
    • The organizers have set-up Zoom info sessions on Friday 12th and 19th from 09h00-10h00 EST (GMT-5) and from 15h00-16h00 EST (GMT-5) (2 sessions each day, 4 in total)

    • Launch of student promotional material: March 15th
    • Student Registration: March 29th

IMPORTANT: professors do NOT need to have a class tied to the event, there will be open registration for all students across the network and events would occur outside a professor’s class time.
