Welcome to York University! 

Are you new to campus? Register for York International’s student orientation to meet other international students, build community, and learn about important resources! International students are only required to attend one of these dates. We will be hosting three in-person orientation days on: August 26th, September 7th and September 15th.

What to bring

What to bring and wear? Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can walk or run in! The day’s programming includes information sessions, a resource fair, a campus tour, games, and sports at the York University gym! We will be playing games such as dodgeball, badminton, soccer, and bean bag toss. All skill levels are welcome! If you choose not to play lawn games or the activities offered, there will be a button-making station!

What to wear

Please dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. If the forecast calls for rain, please bring an umbrella. Lunch and a snack will be provided. Lunches will meet the dietary restrictions indicated upon registration.

Travelling to York

If you are traveling to York University by the TTC, there are two subway stops on campus, York University, and Pioneer Village. If you are coming to Keele campus from Glendon, there is a shuttle bus that you can utilize. Reserve your seat in advance. Use the campus map to locate Vanier and the two subway stations!
