The Conference will accept the following kinds of papers:

  • Academic papers*: submitted abstracts should provide evidence of a strong theoretical and methodological rigorous. Abstracts need to have an introduction section in which there is some contextualization and the presentation of the objective, literature review concerning previous work on the subject, methodological procedures, analysis of empirical data (if applicable) and conclusions.
  • Practitioners’ reports: on cases of entrepreneurial/executive/social experiences: submitted abstracts should present solutions to practical problems in educational institutions. In this case, authors should be more concerned with the practical lessons that can be taken from their actions, which can help other practitioners.
  • Think (envision) pieces: Thought-provoking and speculative papers that present new perspectives, opinions and analysis of current and future mobility trends, challenges, and solutions.
  • Poster presentations: Short and concise presentation of research outcomes in a poster format along with a 2 minute recorded explanation
  • Creative arts** including, yet not limited to, photography, digital arts, poetry …etc. that reflect international education experiences.

*Select papers will be part of an edited conference publication on inclusive and sustainable internationalization.**Poster presentations and representations of creative arts will be featured in the conference site and – where possible – in the conference publication.
