The UAB International Tracks (IT) program offers curated course packages for international students, ensuring compatibility with academic timetables and providing certification with transferable credits. These tracks are designed around specific subjects, usually at the undergraduate level but occasionally available for master’s students. Each track focuses on a particular topic or interdisciplinary area, comprising between 24 and 30 ECTS credits, and is taught entirely in English during either the first or second semester, depending on the track.

Each IT may consist of up to three components:

1. Study Component – Core courses related to the main topic.
2. Research or Work Placement Component – Practical experience in the field.
3. Optional Subject Component – Elective subjects to enhance learning.

The program's goal is to provide international students from diverse academic backgrounds an enriching, semester-long study experience at UAB.
