The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Exchange Scholarship is available to students who are enrolled in an undergraduate program at one of York's exchange partner institutions in Greece. York's partners institutions are listed here.
Students from all disciplines are eligible to apply, however a preference will be given to students pursuing courses offered through York's Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies.
Note: Students interested participating in an exchange at York must apply through their home institution.
Funding is available to support four (4) exchange semesters per year. Each exchange students may apply for funding for up to two (2) semesters. Applications are due April 1st, 2015 for both Fall 2015 and Winter 2016 semesters. Students from institutions in Greece that are not listed as current partners are still encouraged to have their institution contact York International.

Application Process:
Step 1: Contact Home Institution
Interested students must first apply to their home institution for an international exchange at York University
Step 2: Submit Exchange Application Form/On-Campus Housing Form
Students nominated by their home institution must then complete the required exchange application form for undergraduate studies. If they indicate a need for on-campus housing, a separate housing form will be sent to them. These forms are then mailed to York International by the student's home institution by April 1, 2015.
Step 3: Receive Admissions Package and Make Arrangements for Study Permits/Visas
York University will review the application and provide supporting documentation. If approved, York then issues an admission package directly to the student by July 2015. Documentation required to apply for the appropriate immigration papers is found within the admission package.
Step 4: Enroll in Courses
Once students have received their admissions package, they can enroll in courses.
Step 5: Apply for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Scholarship
Students from York's partner institutions that have been nominated for an exchange and accepted by York will then become eligible for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Undergraduate Exchange Scholarship on a first-come, first-served basis, reviewed and approved by York. Students will have to demonstrate financial need by filling out a financial need form that the student's home institution can obtain from York International.
