York U Safety Mobile App
Designed for York U students, faculty and staff, the app provides a one-stop access to all of the University’s safety resources, including a direct call to campus security and key student safety services such as goSafe, the Campus Shuttle, and other important safety information. GoSafe
GoSAFE exists to make all York students more safe by providing escorts to and from any location on campus, as well as by conducting weekly audits of all on-campus exterior lighting, all on-campus automatic doors, and on-campus Emergency and Elevator phones to ensure that York’s safety infrastructure is always operating.

GoSafe’s hours of operation:
- Keele: 6:00pm - 2:00am (Fall/Winter); 8:00pm - 2:00am (Summer).
- Glendon: 6:00pm to 1:00am (Fall/Winter), no Summer service.
GoSAFE does not operate during the Fall University Holiday Closure, but does operate on all other days of the year, including statutory holidays and other University closures.

York Security Services
York Security Services are responsible for ensuring that York is a safe place for all who study or work here. York Security Services work like an on-campus police force and are the first to respond to any emergency calls.

At anytime, anywhere in the city, help from the Toronto Police is only a phone call away. Dial 911 from any phone and an operator will dispatch an officer to your assistance right away.
