In August 2016, I went on a one-term exchange to the University of Hong Kong. My Hong Kong exchange experience gave me a real taste of Southern China concerning food, culture, and language. While at University of Hong Kong, I felt like I was immersed in Chinese language and Culture, and I met international students from all over the world. We shared our interests, goals, thoughts, and opinions about Hong Kong culture. Meeting Hong Kong University students probably the most rewarding because they introduced me to the city's cultural life, art, and of course Dim sum. My Hong Kong exchange is an experience that has not only shaped me as person in terms of experiencing Chinese culture first hand, as well as improve my Chinese, which I had been learning for 8 years.
