York University is home to over 5000 international students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We are glad that you are considering joining our community and look forward to welcoming you in person!

This section of the website contains important information for all future international students about York’s admission requirements and the necessary steps in applying to study.

Undergraduate

York University welcomes international students into all of its undergraduate programs. The Office of Admissions is responsible for the selection of all new students, and information about the application and admission requirements for undergraduate international students can be found on the Office of Admissions website or for all undergraduate students coming from Canadian high schools, etc.

Graduate

The Faculty of Graduate Studies, in collaboration with the Office of Admissions and the relevant graduate program, administers the application and admission process for all prospective graduate students at York University. International students who wish to study at the graduate level should consult the Graduate Admissions website for details about admission requirements, important dates, programs of study and funding opportunities.
