International Student Support (Resources)

Mental Health Resources

International Students face unique challenges while studying at York. Being  far from home and in an unfamiliar environment can contribute to increased stress, anxiety and other mental health issues.  Because an international student may not be familiar with the supportive resources available to them at York and in Toronto, their educators can play a particularly important role in identifying the symptoms of mental illness and assisting an international student in finding the support they need.

Additional useful information is available online through Ingle International.

York University students can use WellTrack, a free online platform that provides students with tools and resources to help them deal with stress, anxiety and depression. Students can sign up with access code: YORK.
